After the Show

Here she is showing off her loot from the ice show. She got the magic wand before the show and suckered Mommy in to the other one after the show. She had a great time :)

Dinsey on Ice

Here is Emma all ready to go to Disney Princesses on Ice! She was SOOOO excited. She dressed up like Sleeping Beauty. Grandma Denise went with us too. You should have seen her face when everyone came out on the ice. She was absolutely entranced. She couldn't believe that Minnie & Mickey were there too!

The first half of the show were excerpts from Aladdin, Mulan, Beauty & the Beast, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and the Little Mermaid. The second half was all Cinderella. Emma was so excited! She had been waiting for Cinderella the whole time. I was SO upset that I didn't bring my camera. The fine print on the bottom of the ticket said no cameras, but there were plenty of people there with cameras and they were letting people take pics. So, we don't have any pics from the show itself. Oh well. Emma had a great time and got some pretty princess toys too.

Tutlle Mall Play Place!

We met Heather, Jayson, and Hunter at the playplace at Tuttle Mall on Saturday. Emma and Hunter had so much fun! Emma was being such a little Mommy to Hunter. Emma is just about 22 months older than Hunter. Ever since Saturday, she has been talking about Hunter non stop. She says she misses her. And, she thinks it is SOOO cool that Hunter's daddy is named Jayson and her brother is Jacen! She tells me that ALL the time. (I was going to post pics of Hunter and Emma playing, but I wanted to ask Hunter's mommy before I posted her pics!)

Louis Armstrong

Jacen has been playing trumpet since the beginning of the school year and he's really getting good! Everyone is amazed that he's only been playing for about 6 months. I was taking pics of him playing his trumpet and Emma couldn't stand not getting in just one pic :)

Future Volleyball Star?

Well, Emma has always been a tall girl. Every time she goes to the pediatrician, she gets further and further off the growth chart. Today I measured her and....she is....

42 inches and 42 pounds!

She has grown 3 inches in the last 6 months, since her 3 year checkup.

So, on her growth chart, for 3 1/2 years old, she is > 100th percentile for height, 95th for weight.
She is not slowing down. I just bought her size 6 clothes for summer because her size 5 pants are becoming capris :)

Anyway...she's gonna be taller than her momma by the time she's 10!

Cheese!

CHEESE! And that's all I have to say about that!

Playing with Ponies!

Emma got some new Ponyville figures and she was so cute playing with them. So, I just had to snap some pictures. I love the one that shows her little hands. She is growing up too fast! And, check out those curls!

Dancing!

Boy does my child love to dance. She will dance to just about any music that she hears. She was dancing to something on TV here. Her expressions are priceless!

42 Months

I saw this on another blog and thought it was really neat.

So, Emma is 42 months old now...how old is too old to still be counting in months? ;) So, here are 42 things about her!

1. Her laugh is infectious
2. She loves her brother oh, so much
3. She has 3 grandmas...Grandma Denise, Grandma Diana, & Grandma Carol (who is Jacen's grandma, but has accepted Emma as one of her own grandkids!)
4. She loves to go to preschool
5. She cries when I leave her at preschool
6. She loves to draw
7. She can write some of her letters now
8. She knows how to spell her name
9. She knows most letter sounds
10. She pretends like she's a dog ALL the time :)
11. She loves to hold your pinkie when she is drinking her milk

13. When you ask her what her name is, she responds, "Emma Rose Angela Sardella"
14. She knows Mommy & Daddy's other names
15. She is addicted to PBS kids
16. She is afraid of Elmo

18. She loves babies...especially Joshua...he's her favorite "little Joshy"
19. She is a daddy's girl
20. She has beautiful curls
21. She has the most amazing brown eyes
22. She has had her ear tubes in for 3 years now! I think she set a record
23. Miss Cheryl is her favorite teacher at school
24. She loves to do "exercising"
25. She says her prayers every night before bed
26. Her favorite stuffed animal is "Bubbles Girl"
27. She uses my blankie from when I was a baby, and always says, "I'll give your blankie lots of love tonight"
28. She loves to play air guitar
29. She listens to Daughtry and Flyleaf
30. She has to hide every night when she goes to bed and you have to find her
31. She thinks the library is the coolest place on earth
32. She LOVES animals

2nd Gotcha Day - 1/31/07

Emma's 2rd Gotcha day. We went to COSI - here she is at Kidspace. I can't believe how much she's changed. Here she is 2 1/2. She still looks like such a toddler.

1st Gotcha Day - 1/31/06

Emma's 1st Gotcha day! We went to Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton. She had fun. She was so little...18 months old!

Gotcha Day Present

Shawn and I try to get her a special gift for her Gotcha Day each year. This year we got her this Precious Moments, titled "I'm so lucky to have you as a daughter." We started her collection on her 1st Christmas and she has a lot already! She's catching up on Mommy's collection now. She really likes getting them :)

Bowling!

She kept lying down on the lanes to watch her ball go down the lane. It was cute. She loved her bowling shoes.
